April Interlocking Crochet and Simple & Sensational Patterns & Videos

Posted by on

I’m glad the website is finally up and I’m able to start adding new patterns for the Monthly Membership Club. It’s all free so just sign up to receive your monthly announcement.

I’m interested in creating projects crocheters want to make. Right now I’m concentrating on working with the Interlocking Crochet designs from the book so crocheters will become more familiar with this technique. I’m using the single designs for my first few projects; then I’ll incorporate the double designs. My patterns include baby blankets, afghans, purses and clothing items. If there are any specific items you would like me to include, please leave a comment below.

I’ve also added two new Interlocking Crochet videos. One demonstrates how to work a Back Post Stitch (BPdcib) and a Front Post Stitch (FPdcif). The other shows how to create the border, uniting the A & B sides into one fabric.

I'm really enjoying the creation of a series of How-to-Crochet videos and projects for beginners (or those who want to explore some new techniques). Each month I'll introduce a new stitch (or technique) in a pattern. Overtime I hope to build on that knowledge by gradually exploring all facets of crochet and encouraging new crocheters to find their favorite techniques so they can begin designing their own projects. April's crochet stitch is the Slip Stitch. I've used it in a simple, but lovely scarf.
